The Temple of the Transfiguration of the Traktorozavodsky deanery of the Volgograd and Kamyshin Orthodox dioceses attracts attention with its architectural forms.
The parish was founded in 1991. Later, in 1998, a wooden temple was laid in honor of the Transfiguration. An interesting example of an eclectic wooden church. The temple, which is cruciform in plan, is crowned with a tent, into which three rows of decorative barrels and tongs are embedded.
Divine services are performed daily. There are two priests serving in the parish. There is a Sunday school and a library too.
The picturesque building is the decoration of the Spartanovka microdistrict. This object of cult architecture is best viewed from a close distance, since the approaches to the temple are partially covered by green spaces, as well as commercial and residential buildings.
